2025 Chevy Suburban Performance Changes

The Suburban’s 3.0L Duramax engine is now available in any trim level, including the Z71 for the first time. The turbodiesel inline-six pairs with a 10-speed automatic transmission and makes 305 horsepower and 495 pound-feet of torque – increases of 28 hp and 35 lb-ft over the 2024 model.

2025 Chevy Suburban Design Updates

The 2025 Chevy Suburban sports a fresh exterior look with a more squared-off front end, sophisticated character lines, and new wheel designs up to 24 inches. The front fascia is also more assertive, with a bold grille, dynamic lighting clusters, and sculpted bumpers.

Inside, Chevy has updated the Suburban’s cabin with a new steering wheel, a redesigned center console with more storage, and upgraded available materials, including Piano Black and Galvano Chrome trim, genuine wood décor, and more soft-touch surfaces.

2025 Chevy Suburban Technology Upgrades

The 2025 Suburban has replaced the previous 10.2-inch touchscreen with a new 17.7-inch infotainment display with Google built-in, including Google Assistant, Google Maps, and Google Play Store apps. Now, you can use conversational “Hey, Google” voice commands to play music, make and receive calls, find directions, change the temperature, and more without taking your hands off the wheel.

Several driver-assistance systems are now standard across the lineup, including Adaptive Cruise Control, HD Surround Vision, Reverse Automatic Braking, and automated parking assistance. Plus, GM’s acclaimed Super Cruise hands-free driving system is now available for all but the LS and Z71 trim levels.
